Hazard management FAQ

Using AI to prioritize factory safety monitoring

What safety managers should know before generating and reviewing a monitoring plan.

What does the AI Hazard Advisor generate?

It generates a prioritized monitoring plan with a recommended use case, rationale, camera or sensor coverage, alert route, trigger conditions and an immediate next step for each action.

Which factory hazards can I describe?

The advisor accepts PPE compliance, line-of-fire, vehicle and pedestrian interaction, restricted-zone entry, unsafe climbing or work at height, and equipment or process risks. You can also describe another workplace hazard in your own words.

What details produce a more useful monitoring plan?

Include the work area, movement and visibility conditions, people or equipment exposed, how often the situation occurs, what could go wrong and any controls or camera coverage already in place.

Does the advisor consider existing safety controls?

Yes. You can include barriers, training, signage, alarms, spotters and current camera coverage. The resulting plan uses that context when prioritizing monitoring and response actions.

Can this AI hazard assessment replace a qualified EHS review?

No. The Hazard Advisor is decision support. A qualified EHS team should validate the hazard, assess the site, select controls and approve any monitoring or corrective action before implementation.
